LZ Fotomehanika
From the slovenian word "Fotomehanik" - a person who fixes cameras.
We provide...
...the finest standards we can achieve
We invest in tools, materials and knowledge whenever we can so we can return your gear to you in proper specification. Cameras are precise instruments and we live by that.
... 1 year of warranty
It's important for your camera to be reliable for a long time. We stand for the quality of our work by providing you with one of the longest warranty periods available in the analog camera repair business.
...a complete overhaul of your camera
We like to disassemble your gear to every last part to ensure everything gets cleaned properly. Every single piece of your camera is responsible for the whole.

We are no longer accepting orders from outside the EU27 area
Posted on 30.10.2025
Due to the service of temporary import being no longer available for small companies in Slovenia, it is economically unviable for customers to send us cameras from outside the EU27 trade zone.
We will happily redirect you to your nearest trusted technician. You can also view our Friends Section.

LZ Fotomehanika acquires Hasselblad tools and spare parts
Posted on 03.11.2025
We have recently acquired a large stock of original Hasselblad camera parts and factory calibration tools.
This provides us with a unique chance to offer a higher level of quality in our Hasselblad service and make your camera as precise as if it left the factory. We are now also able to replace some of the parts that are known to be scarce and unobtainable.
Collaboration with NorthCam
Posted on 30.10.2025
We like to stay connected with other technicians. Healthy competition is a great way to hold a high bar for quality of work.
Daniel Haanskorf has recently founded NorthCam in the Netherlands and is already diligently working on all sorts of Nikon cameras. Given our ever-increasing workload, we decided all Nikon camera bodies we receive booking for be relegated to NorthCam.
Limitations on F-1 cameras
Posted on 31.7.2025
Due to frequent issues with the curtain brake mechanism and other malfunctions that arise from early production errors, we will no longer be accepting into service Canon F-1 cameras that were made in the year 1971 (first production year). You can identify your camera's year of production by observing the date code stamped in the film cartridge chamber.
Cameras from 1971 have date codes that start with the letter "M".
