I. General terms
1. LZ Fotomehanika is an analog camera repair business registered in Slovenia under the registration number 9077375000 and tax ID SI27848906.
2. These terms of service apply to any user of the services offered by LZ Fotomehanika and any user of such services accepts the terms in their entirety.
3. We reserve the right to change or add to these terms without prior notice.
4. LZ Fotomehanika is relieved of all liability resulting from events that transcend the scope of their control, such as natural disasters, war, military operations, fire and water damage, pandemics, etc.
II. Pricing and payment
1. All prices stated are in EUR (€).
2. The prices given in the pricing section are subject to change without prior notice.
3. VAT is not charged according to the point 1 of article 25 of the Slovenian VAT act (reverse charge, applies only to business customers who provide their VAT ID).
4. The base prices given in the pricing section are provisional and do not include possible spare parts, shipping and custom charges or any other fees that may result in additional work needed. Any pricing change is consolidated with the customer in writing.
5. Any service price will be quoted to the customer in the booking process prior to the customer sending any equipment to us. The base price for the service quoted to the customer is guaranteed, even if the pricing changes during the turnaround time.
6. All payments are done electronically via bank transfer or PayPal as per the payment details provided on the invoice document. If the customer chooses to pay with PayPal, they shall elect to waive the buyer protection and pay via Friends and Family. Any other type of payment will be refunded.
7. Payment of services is due immediately upon the receipt of invoice via the email address provided by the customer.
8. If payment is not received within 30 days from the issue date of the invoice, the received equipment becomes the property of LZ Fotomehanika.
III. Warranty
1. Every serviced piece of equipment has 12 months of warranty, starting with the date on the service invoice.
2. The warranty excludes any malfunction of electronics that can't be attributed to technician error, part failure, neglect, fall damage, water damage, tampering, attempts to repair the camera by the customer or any other technician or any similar adjustments and changes to the equipment or any other improper use.
3. Warranty repairs are free.
4. Any warranty claim must be done in writing immediately upon discovery of defects with the service invoice appended. If the user continues to use the defective equipment, resulting in additional damage, the warranty is void.
5. The warranty is non-transferable.
6. The postage fees for warranty repairs are covered by LZ Fotomehanika only for return shipping and only if the warranty claim turns out to be valid.
IV. Repairs and maintenance
1. All repairs have a turnaround time (waiting period) that starts after the receipt of the camera equipment. The rough estimate of turnaround time is stated in the scope of the booking correspondence and can also be found written on the home page of this website. LZ Fotomehanika is not liable for any loss or compensation from failure to meet the turnaround time. The customer will be notified of any possible delays in a timely manner.
2. LZ Fotomehanika reserves the right to refuse repair and maintenance service on any piece of equipment that has previously been worked on by any untrained personnel. The judging of equipment condition is at the discretion of LZ Fotomehanika. Any such piece of equipment received without prior approval from LZ Fotomehanika will be returned to the customer upon payment of return shipping costs.
V. Shipping
1. The customer is responsible for the safe delivery of their equipment to LZ Fotomehanika.
2. Any camera equipment must be shipped according to the instructions provided by LZ Fotomehanika. Any accessories that are not a part of the camera equipment (straps, batteries, etc...), except lens and body caps, are not the responsibility of LZ Fotomehanika and may or may not be returned to the customer, should the technician in all his focus dedicated to repairing your camera forget to include the strap and/or battery when they ship the equipment back.
3. Shipping couriers and Slovenian Post prohibits the shipping of goods that contain batteries. Therefore, all goods containing batteries received shall be returned to the customer without them after the services are complete.
4. LZ Fotomehanika is responsible for the customer's equipment until the equipment is delivered to the customer.
5. The return shipping is done via a DHL courier with tracking and insurance in the amount of the market value of the equipment being sent.
VI. Data protection
1. Any personal information provided by the customer will never be published anywhere and will be used solely for the booking process, invoice issue and return shipping.
